2015 SPRING DANCE PRODUCTION

WHEN:       Friday, June 12th and Saturday, June 13th
WHERE:     Norwalk High School Performing Arts Center - 350 Shady Lane Drive
TIME:         7:30 P.M.

The doors open at 6:00; all dancers need to be dressed and ready to perform by 6:30. The dancers are to remain in their designated dressing rooms, which are located behind the stage. Please ensure your child has proper supervision; if she is too young to be left unattended at home, she is too young to be left unattended in the dressing room.

The backstage workers will retrieve dancers from the dressing room only; they will not search the auditorium or lobby for dancers. Nobody is permitted behind stage besides dancers and the backstage crew.

Dancers must have the proper shoes and tights. They also need to apply makeup heavily. The auditorium is large and the stage lights are bright; dancers' faces need to be seen on stage. Heavy eye makeup and bright lipstick are required. Please style hair so that it is neat and off the face.

Videotaping of the performance is not permitted. Videotaping is permitted at dress rehearsal only. We prohibit videotaping so that the audience can enjoy a performance without distractions, and also to prevent random audience members from taping your child. DVD's will be available for you to purchase.

Anyone who plans to enter the auditorium during the show must have a ticket. This includes mothers who go back and forth from the dressing room to the auditorium.

Even though this is a long weekend with late nights, please make every effort to allow your dancer to stay and participate in the finale. They have worked so hard all year long for their special moment on stage.
